When we arrived we were given our room keys and when I walked into my room it had a lovely view! Others had okay rooms, which were dated. The food was average. Had a few problems with the hotel:L, so don't know if I/we shall go back!!!x

We stayed here for 2 nights and were treated extremely well. The food was very good and the staff very attentive. This hotel although in need of renovation has very clean rooms and is value for money. Great manageress doing an excellent job in difficult times for the tourist industry.

We stayed here for two nights in September. Very expensive B&B cost, considering the state of the place. Room was clean, but the decor was pre 80s at best. We had to run the shower for a while before the water became hot enough to use. Walls are paper thin and we were on the corridor beside the lift, so got to hear everyones comings & goings. Didn't eat here at all and managed to miss the breakfast both mornings, so can't comment on the food. Unlikely that we'll be back.

The hotel was miles from anywhere of any consequence. A risky walk along a main road with limited pedestrian facility gets you to the nearest town which has absolutely nothing to boast about. The hotel offers nothing in the way of entertainment i.e. table tennis, pool/snooker or darts. There is a tennis court and a badly maintained crazy golf course. Food was acceptable as were the bedrooms but it was disappointing not to have hot water in the bathrooms. We did complain to the staff about this but the situation did not change. I also wrote to the management about the problem with the water saying that it was unacceptable but no one had the courtesy to reply.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and found Richard and his wife to be very welcoming and good ambassadors for the White Hotel group.

We had arranged to stay here for 5 days, as part of a Caledonian Tour, but unfortunately my husband became ill on our first night there. A doctor was called and he was taken by ambualnce to hospital. The days which followed were traumatic, as he had to have surgery. However, the hotel staff at Burren Castle were admirable & supported me with excellent hopsitality & extreme kindness - Oleg, on night reception, Svenga, manageress, Richard, under manager, Evelyn, on day reception & Sonia.

The hotel looked impressive, and was extremely comfortable & welcoming. The dining room was well run & the food was excellent. Bedrooms were spacious & clean, with comfortable beds, and very quiet environment.
The foyer with seating area, was lovely, as was the conservatory.
Entertainment in true Irish spirit, was most enjoyable.

I cannot emphasise enough, how helpful & obliging the staff were.
Thank you Richard, for taking us by car to the train station.
Also, many thanks to Peter Mooney & Michael, taxi drivers from Limerick.
