I was able to stay at the Glengarriff Park Hotel for about 6 days. I found the staff to be accommodating, the food was wonderful and the rooms were quaint and homey. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay there again when we return.

When you travel all over the World you learn to appreciate The Little Things that make a place so special. There is no shortage of little things that makes the Glengarriff Park Hotel one of the best places I have ever stayed. Visiting there for a friends wedding was truly an amazing experience and the location and the staff here were phenomenal. The hotel, restaurant and bar were spotless and well appointed. Each of the staff went the extra mile to help you and make sure our stay was perfect. I will absolutely be back and high recommend you try it as well.

Simply the best place to stay in Glengarriff! We had our wedding at St. Finbarr's Oratory and based our guests out of Glengarriff. The village was perfect...great atmosphere...great people...loads things to do in the area. We had 30 guests from the states and another 20 guests locally. We filled the hotel and the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive to our every need. We even had a storyteller (Seanchai) the was arranged by the hotel the night of our reception. The food was fantastic!!! Our reception was held in McCarthy's Pub which is part of the hotel....a good craic was had by all. We even had a Irish Tea the hotel put on for us as well, to welcome our guests.....again it was perfect. Forgot about the shopping....great places in the village to find someting you forgot to bring or a gift that you need to take home. I would give the hotel 5 stars!!!!! We loved it, if you dont know that yet and would recomend this hotel to all!!!

Cheers and many thanks all at the hotel that made our visit perfect.
A speical shout-out to Leo (Reception) & Richard (Bar-man)

Awesome experience with this amazing hotel. We had excellent service with absolutely everyone we came in contact with. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we look forward to visiting the Glengariff Park Hotel again. We were there for my sister's wedding and the hotel, bistro and bar staff did an incredible job creating beautiful memories for all of us. Thank you Glengariff Park Hotel.

This is a smashing Hotel. Positioned in the middle of the village. It has everythink you need pub, restaurant and lovely big clean rooms. Eat in the bar instead of restaurant, the food is the same, just alot cheaper. Freinds of ours had a room at the front of the Hotel with a decent view. We had a room at the back overlooking the carpark. (When you book ask for a room at the front.) They have special offers on there web page. The staff are lovely and they will direct you to all the local attractions in the village. It is a pretty village and has a lot to offer.
Be warned though there is no bank or pass machine in the village.

Room Tip: Look on there web page for special offers.

Dear Kilkenny1959,

Thank you very much for your lovely review of the hotel, the staff and Glengarriff!

I am only replying to clear up the menu prices confusion. The menu is the same in both MacCarthy's Bar and The Park bistro. However, it is not priced differently! Both venues are priced exactly the same it is just a different "setting" so to speak.

We are very happy you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again in the future.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and the perfect location for touring the beara peninsula...the fantastic weather made this area a beautiful part of the country! Staff were very helpful...especially when we got locked out:) We had breakfast one of the mornings and it was good.
If you are a light sleeper maybe request a room towards the back of the hotel.
