I booked this hotel for a night away last year with my partner.
Good location half way between Dundalk and newry.
Check in was very prompt and the receptionist very friendly.
The hotel is on a split level so I think our room was on the third floor but wasn't up that high!
The room was comfortable but somewhat dated.
As it was Sunday we decided to avail of the carvery dinner in the big function room to the right of reception.
The food was not great and the room was so big it gave a cold empty feeling also the table and chairs were old and reminded me of a church hall or school canteen,
The bar however has a lovely traditional Atmosphere and good bar food.
The highlight of this place is the leisure centre with huge pool sauna and cold plunge pool,
The outdoor hot tub is set in stunning gardens and has amazing views of the mountains was fab!
All in all this place is great could be updated a little but the pros outweigh the consMore
