We held our MS Ireland Louth Branch AGM in the Crowne Plaza Dundalk. From start to finish- everything was just perfect. The room, the food, any additional needs we had- like projectors. It was very important that people with mobility disabilities were catered for and this is exactly what happened. Bravo to the Crowne Plaza Dundalk for a professional, welcoming service at the right price!

I have been to this hotel on numberous occasions, food is basic, hotel is nice however lacks an atmosphere, never even a bit of background music, staff are not great in my experience apart from the bar lady Chloe who is always extremely friendly and helpful, this hotel could be buzzing if it put a bit of effort into it. It's a shame because it is possibly the best hotel around but the staff don't seem interested, hotel rarely has music or anything on, pity because I know a lot of people who would regularly use it if they actually cared!

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza Dundalk over the Easter weekend, beautiful hotel staff fantastic and food top rate cannot fault it in any way shape or form .Beautiful bedrooms and breakfast is absolutely magnificent and less than an hours drive from Belfast, will most certainly stay there again, and would recommend it very highly.

Room Tip: the higher the better plenty off elevators and noise ,there is none at night.

Great central hotel to use as a base. We did the exploration to Belfast to see the Titantic and also went to Dublin, Newgrange as well. The room was well maintained and the staff helpful on all times. Breakfast was bountiful and helped to maintain oneself for the day. Would certainly like to return,

I stayed here for one night for business, arrived at about 6pm so left my bags in my room and headed straight for dinner, I sat waiting to be served in the bar for between 15-20 minutes, nobody approached me so I left and ordered a dominios to the hotel. Very disappointing.
The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. Couldn't say a bad word about the room. I would stay here again as for me the room is far more important than the restaurant service.

The upper floors of this hotel offer stunning views I don't normally associate with a Crowne Plaza - not airport dullness but distant mountains and a sweeping bay.

Mostly bog standard CP in terms of a spacious room, well equipped bathroom, decent toiletries (disappointing lack of hair conditioner, though), good hanging space, a safe, a sensible desk with enough electrical sockets, and a phenomenally comfortable bed. Strong WiFi signal both in bedroom and in restaurant.

The only niggles are that this CP lacks the usual humongous bath sheets (these are just regular bath towels), the breakfast is adequate but nothing special (this is Ireland for goodness sake!) and the lighting is hopelessly gloomy and low wattage. Impossible to read except by using the mini spotlight next to the bed - no proper task lighting at desk.

But bar service prompt and friendly, reception efficient and helpful, altogether a great choice for professional service and comfort. Next time I travel to Dundalk on business I won't even consider staying anywhere else.

Pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms.
Hotel offers two restaurants, we choose to eat in the bar restaurant which we found very cold. The menu was basic, food was not cold, but not warm. Breakfast was very good. Overall we found the hotel ok, but not value for money.
