Our first choice for dinner was Chez Hans but unfortunately they were not open that Wednesday night. We got a few suggestions from our B&B host and this place was the first stop in town. Glad we did. It was a good break from pubs and the usual fare.
The athmosphere was very contemporary and nicely done. It appeared busy but we were seated immediately. Our servers were prompt and attentive. Good selection of wines and items from the menu. Overall it was a satisfying experience. Our dishes were well prepared and met our demanding palates.
Just one thing that kept me from giving the five stars is that service was a little slow and this is not a knock on the servers because they were like I said attentive. Instead, it seemed that were short staffed and perhaps overwhelmed.
Location was in the town center and was walking distance from our lodging which was at the edge of town.
Would definitely recommend.
