On the way back to Dublin we stopped here for a night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The host is a retired Merchant Marine sailor with plenty of great stories and more than happy to help with what to do around town and no pressure to move the car out of his car park while touring the town. If we were to revisit Cashel this would be the first place we would look to stay.

We stayed in this beautiful bed and breakfast for one night only and wished we could have stayed longer. The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My partner and I travelled with 2 other couples. One couple stayed in main house and the rest of the party in the cottage next door. The main house is beautiful with lots of character and the cottage was cosy especially with the coal fire lit and roaring away ! A real find and definitely a place to go back to.

A nice place to stay for sure! The rooms were a little older (the building itself was about 200years old!) and the bathroom was tiny (we had to open the shower stall door to have enough elbow room to sit on the toilet), but the experience was very good. A little noisy in town above the street and with the other rooms. The wi-fi was off and on in the room we were in on the second floor. The owner was super friendly though and even offered for us to keep our car in their car park while we toured around town if we wanted.

My friend and I recently stayed at Ashmore House, and loved the house, the hosts, and Cashel in general. Brendan was very welcoming and accommodating, and the facilities and rooms were fine (in response to some reviewers' comments - yes, the house is 'old', but that's part of its charm!). I would definitely recommend Ashmore House. And I know a many travelers come to Cashel for a day trip, but I also recommend staying at least one night to see the village itself and the surrounding sights - the visitors' centre itself is worth a stop, and staff there are very helpful.

Stayed here for 4 nights end of July with husband and daughter. This was my second time staying here and I've got to say it's brill!
Wally and Brendan are an absolute delight and very accommodating.
House is clean and very well kept - garden is beautiful.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back and it was perfect
