“Good for hiking”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

Breathtaking view from the hilltop, where you can see the blue sea below you. There's a big cross there, perfect for those who wants to have a photoshoot. It makes you feel like you're closer to Christ, as you enjoy the panaroma. Reminder: wear good sport shoes!!

“Nice climb”
Reviewed 4 October 2013

its a short walk up though a little steep, there is a 360 degree view at the top but I'd prefer if there wasnt a religious cross there, its like the church claimed it as their own! There are several paths then off the head, towards greystones or down the side of the gold course towards the Wilton hotel. You can see ruins of the old cable car which used to bring passengers to the top of Bray head. On a sunny day you can take great photos and on some other days its covered in fog! check the forecast before going

“Amazing hike”
Reviewed 1 October 2013

short but worthy hike. wind at the top adds shiver to the excitement of surreal view all across the Bray Head. Shoreline is amazingly beautiful. Totally worth a visit. And mulberries on the way adds ting to the adventure.

“Wear good shoes”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

Its a short but steep climb to „the Cross“ but with a good pair of shoes not too difficult. The paths are easily identified and one is rewarded with a fantastic view of the bay to the north as far as Dublin and on a clear day the Welsh coast can also be identified. The reward is a stunning view and often a wonderful breeze. It’s accessible all year round.
Note also there are no facilities.

“Walking”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

This is a nice walk with great views of Bray and further . There is a board on the walk telling you information on what you can see. Also a history board. Great views and a nice way to pass your time.
