“It's up there with the best of Europe!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Parked at the Bray Promenade and strolled up the slight incline to the start of the Cliff Walk. If you have plenty of time on your hands you can take a little detour and head up Bray Head for incredible views across Dublin Bay and all the way to Wicklow. Anyway, on you go on the cliff walk. On a sunny calm day there is no place like it...it’s up there with the most scenic walks in Europe. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Look out for seals and dolphins playing in the sea 70m below. Big tip...when you get to Greystones, and before you get the tram (Dart) back to Bray, be sure to take a visit to the Happy Pear Cafe Restaurant. Mainly vegetarian but be prepared to be surprised...I know…oxymoron and all that!! The food is absolutely superb and the staff are soooo friendly. It seems they just love their job! There are several other nice pubs and restaurants there as well so the choice is yours! If you still have time to stare (waiting for the next tram) take a little stroll up to ‘Burberry’ an old Victorian/Art Deco housing development on the south end of the town…it’s like going back in a time machine without popping your ears!

“Cliff Walk”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

Great place for a short walk. The walk to Greystones form Bray is very manageable. You can walk back as well or take the bus/dart. Views are excellent and you really get the feeling of being somewhere wild. A couple of places are awkward for buggys, but no problem getting help if on your own. Well worth the trip

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

The walk is longer than it appears, but not very strenuous. My friend and I did not make it the entire way, as we weren't wearing suitable shoes; however, even going part of the way is well worth it, as the view is stunning!
