“Sushi Extravaganza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2014

Not bad for sushi extravaganza but i only are 1 plate of my favourite (Fresh Tuna) and it seems they just put few plates on the belt when i went there anyway the experience is good and hope to make more varieties for sushi on times where they offer all you can eat as i think it's only 5 to 6 types of sushi (including fruits).

“Used to be great...not so much now”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

Went there for the "all you can eat for €20" this evening and really wasn't impressed. I've eaten here a fair few times before and have always found the food to be good, if a little on the expensive side. Unfortunately this evening the whole experience was pretty poor.

When we sat down there were plenty of plates going around on the belt, but there were only about 5 different dishes and they were all the cheapest crappy foods - it was just endamame, kaiso salad, tamago nigiri, prawn nigiri, and fruit salad. Now I know on the all you can eat nights they're not going to have the most expensive plates (the grey ones) going around on the belt, but this was ridiculous. The previous run of all you can eat gave you two hours from the time you sat down, so if it was slim pickings on the belt, you had lots of time to wait for them to put more dishes on. This time they've changed it so you only have an hour.

From what I could gather from hearing people around us, there were a fair few people complaining about this. The manager was coming around and asking everyone how they were getting on. We asked were there going to be other dishes put on and he said they'd be on in the next few minutes and apologised, saying there was a problem in the kitchen. In the end the belt was finally topped up about 10 minutes before our hour was up, and all the dishes were ice cold, like they'd just come straight out of the fridge.

I was chatting to a friend later on and mentioned the meal, she then said that the last few times she's been there it's been a similar story - belt poorly stocked, and any orders took forever to arrive. In all it cost us just under €60 for two adults and one child, and it wasn't a nice dinner at all. Could have gotten much better in one of the other restaurants in Dundrum for the same money. Sad to say I don't think I'll be going back.

“Charging for tap water”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013

We thought that it would be nice to check out this restaurant in the center as the novelty of your food arriving on a conveyor belt seemed like fun. We then found out we needed to order specific things from a menu that would then be served to you directly.

We picked 3 side dishes that were already on the conveyor and it was mediocre at best (for the price)

We used two glasses and filled a drink of tap water from a faucet right beside us. When we went to pay we were saw €1 per glass for water on the receipt and questioned the waiter (who was nice) He told us that because it was our first time he would not charge us. Not sure if they still charge for tap water these days

Overall a pretty dreadful experience and we were still hungry after eating there that we got a meal in an alternative restaurant

“Sad experience.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2013 via mobile

Had lunch here, we tried the place before and had not been super happy yet, but it's the only sushi place in the shopping centre.
The food do not feel and taste fresh, the salmon smells of fish - never a good sign! The staff was really not present, no service at all.The prices are quit high. It will be a while before we come back, and we hope to find a new sushi place before we have to.
The placement of the restaurant is cool.
