“Great hospitality”

This is a lovely B&B in Oranmore, Ireland. We stayed here for two nights and couldn't fault it. Great Irish hospitality, nothing was a problem, felt very welcome. Ann's breakfasts are outstanding. Rooms are lovely.

My husband and I spent a very pleasant night at Oranhill Lodge. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome by both Michael and Ann. Our room was lovely - very comfortable bed, spotless bed linen, nice, clean bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV. As I have to sleep on 4 pillows for health reasons, I requested extra pillows and was given them immediately. Also, as I am diabetic, I need my medication stored in the fridge and Michael and Ann were happy to do this and to give it to me when I needed to inject. The breakfast was excellent. Everything was freshly cooked and the choice was also very good. Ann's homemade breads rounded off a very pleasant meal. We both feel this B&B offers great value for money and the service and standard of both our room and the food were much better than at one of the hotels in the Oranmore area where we had stayed previously.

This is a wonderful B&B. Mike and Ann made us feel very welcomed and were knowledgeable and helpful. The house and grounds are lovely with rooms that are comfortable and clean. There were a variety of breakfasts that were delicious. We would gladly stay here again.

When the first thing you meet is a big smile, it has to be called a good start and a warm welcome. We felt very welcommed from the very start at Oranhill Lodge. Both Ann and Michael were eager to support us at any time, always with the additional question if there was anything we wanted or missed. They had many good ideas and tips for us, where to go, what to see, what to do during our four night stay in Oranmore. And we certainly liked the ideas they gave us. The atmosphere in their house was great and friendly. They told us to feel at home, and we sure did!
We were booked in for the family room, two children and two adults. There was enough space, the room was nice, clean and delicate. Great beds made good sleep. Although all the rooms were booked, we could not hear anything from our neighbours nextdoor. The bathroom was also as clean and delicate as everything else.
We stayed other places during our two week holiday to Ireland. But this was the only place which gave us several options for breakfast. We choose from a menu with great variety. The bread and baking fresh from the oven, tasting delicious. And the portions were big. The pancakes were wonderful.
In the garden the springboard was a perfect olace for children to meet. When language is different, it is nice to have an arena like this to meet.
So, thanks Ann and Michael! Thank you for a perfect stay! Next time in the Galway bay area, we are in no doubt where to go!
We will also recommend your place to everyone we know visiting Ireland. Thanks!

The property is gorgeous, the rooms are immaculate and very comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly without being the least bit intrusive! Hope I can make my way back to Ireland and just stay here for a while :-).

Room Tip: We had two doubles and a family room - all were just dandy!

My husband and I along with my sister & her husband took a driving trip through Ireland, staying at several B&B along the way. This was our last B&B stay before returning to Dublin to stay in a downtown Hotel. This was our best stay of the trip! So bright, modern & friendly! Owners, Michael & Anne made us feel part of their family and truly welcome n their home. Rooms are super clean, food is wonderful and location makes traveling to many nearby locations easy.
Michael was very helpful in aiding us in rearranging our rental car return in Dublin & tips for attractions in the area. Gave us a wonderful tip on a local Pub that had delicious food and great local music!
I would recommend this B&B to anyone and would gladly stay there again if returning to Ireland!!

Just stayed for three nights at Michael and Ann's B&B. This really is a GOLD class fabulously welcoming B&B sets the standard that all others should be measured by.

Michael and Ann have created a superbly welcoming environment in a delightfully modern house with superb freshly decorated rooms that are warm and inviting along with on-suite facilities etc. Whilst the environment is superb, the diverse breakfast menu range catering from traditionalists to vegetarians is a totally new experience. The 'freshly cooked' to order Full Irish and Amy's Pancakes are just a few items on the menu that would put a number of high quality hotels to shame.

Looking for somewhere around Oranmore/Gallway to stay, then I would strongly recommend this place go to the top of both your Hotel and B&B list.
Having family in the area means my wife and I need to find a place to stay; I won't even bother looking anywhere else in future, this is the only place to stay!

Michael and Ann, thanks for the wonderful hospitality.
