The landscape is really beautiful. The flora and the fauna are out of this world. We were there on a lovely sunny day and this lead to an even better experience. For those interested in rock formation and history, this is the place.

While not a big, exciting tourist spot it still a very interesting site to take in and explore. The limestone rock just seems to go forever in this designated national park. The day we stopped, it was pouring rain and just had a beautiful shimmer to the rock. Apparently there are hundreds of flora that grow between the cracks which must be stunning.

The Burren Centre in Kilfenora was really informative and gave us an informative insight into the history/heritage of the Burren

Led by our archeologist guide, we studied the land, and learned about the returning of flora and fauna in an area that was wiped out of trees.

unlike anything i've ever seen before. well worth a trip out here just to experience it. highly recommend walking out on the limestone for more than 10 feet from your car to the top of a hill to get great views of the valleys, ocean, hills, etc.

Thank m s
