My Scotish husband and I staid in Drumcreehy House the third time and quality and standard has always been on the same high level: My Scotish husband loves: - Armins good choice of breakfast, excellent fresh food - the possibility to have a nice warm shower - and everything is very tidy and just the rooms have been repainted again and of course the good varity of whiskeys in the bar. I love the little details like the old "kitchen oven" in the breakfast room or the way the house has its own style modern and traditional furniture alltogether in a perfect way placed, pictures at the wall with a good sense of humor. Together we enjoyed the good advise of Bernadette, while my husband was ill one day and the very interesting chats after breakfast with Armin about travelling around the world. We had excellent wheather for March in Ireland and I could sit outside and read a book. From our point of view is comparable with a 4* guesthouse. We have tested althrough hotels in the "blue book" of Ireland and we think it is comparable and worth visiting.

Room Tip: all rooms are on the same standard, the rooms in the front you have a wonderful view over Galway ba...

My wife and I stayed here for one night on 1st/2nd November on our way down to Kinsale. It was spotlessly clean. Unlike any other B&B we have stayed in Drumcreehey Country House has a lounge and honesty bar for use by the guests. The breakfast was out of this world and the choice of food simply astounding.
The location is peaceful with views of the sea and Ballyvaughan a short car drive away. There is a children's play area outside which would be useful for families with children and of course plenty of car parking space within the extensive grounds.

Some friends and I stayed here for one night. We took three rooms and they were all lovely with great views and all absolutely spotlessly clean. It is pet friendly so I was able to bring my dog. There is a little bar there too which was brilliant as it was nice to have a drink before retiring to our fabulous rooms. Breakfast was great with a buffet as well as a great choice of freshly cooked food. Real tea with real tea leaves!

We stayed at Drumcreehy Sunday 27th October for one night.
The weather in west of Ireland was very windy and rainy and about 9 degrees centigrade.
The room was very nice and getting into bed it was not damp and cold as at many other B&Bs.
Extra pillows, blanket and dressing gowns in the wardrobe.
Breakfast was very good and there is a lot of variety. The only comment is regarding the sliced meats and cheese platters, the slices become dry and unappetising after being on the platters for some time.
Have stayed here before, about 4 years ago and would definitely return.

I stayed here with my parents for two nights. We chose this B&B because they accept dogs and they have ground floor rooms which is essential for my Dad.
The rooms are immaculate, spacious and comfortable. There are even dressing gowns in the rooms and Tea and Coffee making facilities are also available.
The breakfast is absolutely amazing. There is a spread of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, breads, cheese, cold meat, fruit juice, croissants and more, from which you help yourself. There is also a menu for a breakfast from the kitchen including a smoked salmon platter, creamed mushrooms on toast and french toast.
Bernadette and Armin are fantastic hosts and run a very professional and welcoming establishment where every detail is thought of. One of the only places I have stayed where the photos on the website are an accurate and true reflection of the accommodation and experience. I can't say enough good things, but suffice to say we will definitely be back.

We stayed at Drumcreehy Country House for two nights. It was excellent in every respect. The hosts are very experienced and professional and welcoming. Excellent set up with a great deal of thought put in to what makes a comfortable stay. More than a B&B experience but not as formal as a hotel so Country House description is spot on. Excellent spacious room. I had some concerns about the dog friendly aspect(as we don't have dogs) but everything is spotless. The refreshment arrangements and space for guests to relax are great. The food recommendations were spot on. We had the Dog Violet room and had lovely views over the sea. I would definitely recommend this B&B and we would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Dog Violet faces out over the sea. Shower only though and blankets rather than duvet.

We picked this B&B as it is dog friendly so a big thumbs up for that. It is in a beautiful location and the house itself is stunning. A downside is that we were told there is no full Irish breakfast on the menu yet the gentleman on the next table was given a full Irish but when we asked we were told no. You would think a full Irish breakfast is a must for a B&B but our biggest problem was that we were not given the option yet he was. No explanation given other than no. So that was disappointing. A pleasant enough stay otherwise.
