Arrived in Ballyvaughan after driving from Dublin in the pouring rain, tired and hungry our first port of call was "Creggs" bed and brekfast as you enter the village. We were greeted with a lovely Irish smiling lady who insisted we come in out of the rain before we even asked her for a room. We knew we were in the right place. She showed us the last room she had and we were delighted. Room was of a good size and tastefully decorated and spotless. After a quick shower the owner pointed us in the direction of a good restaurant in the village.
Breakfast next morning was perfect and the landlady even makes her own Irish bread. Plenty of useful tips from the owner of places to visit. Altogether a great find in Ballyvaughan.
Can't wait to go back!
