“Molls Cottage is very homely and comfortable.”
Reviewed 6 September 2014 for a stay in July 2014

It is everything described in the advert - including warm, clean and central. Phyllis the caretaker was always on hand if we had a question. Its ideal for a family and near a supermarket...don’t forget to light the turf fire - as Phyllis said you don’t need to use the storage heaters as the fire heats the whole house and so our electricity bill after one month was practicaly zero . It’s a new building with an old romantic feel to it and the lawns outside are impeccably kept so we had a BBQ and football games being blessed with good weather mostly. Regarding our big group needs - a bigger fridge with a freezer-compartment was our only suggestion which we were told was on the way – so I couldn’t recommend the cottage highly enough. Thanks Phyllis and Susan.

“Really fantastic, truly lovely cottage in one of the best locations in Ireland”
Reviewed 3 September 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Our family holiday was a staycation this year and we stayed in both hotels and self catering accommodation - Moll's Cottage really was one of the most relaxed, peaceful and safest places we have ever stayed. The children loved it and it was totally safe to let them run around the garden. The village is a stones throw from the cottage with great pubs, restaurants and shops. The pretty harbour is also 5 minutes walk. All in all it is perfect for family's big and small, older people will also love it as there are bedrooms/bathroom downstairs.

“A little bit of heaven”
Reviewed 21 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Moll's cottage is a delightful traditional in the village of Ballyvaughn in the Burren. The cottage is furnished with colorful linens , a large table, spaces inside and outside to read or have quiet conversations. Phyllis, the caretaker, is delightful and attentive. I would already like to be back there. This is an especially good place for walkers, those interested in historical ruins, bikers, and those who like a small village atmosphere.

Susan is wonderful to deal with and our vacation was great.

the view from the garden is breathtaking, overlooking the Cappanawalla Mountains. location is perfect, a stroll to the village to enjoy beautiful seafood chowder in Monks, after having done one of the amazing burren walks. We took in the Farmers market on Sat and then went for refreshing swim in Fanore. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Spotless yet full of character. There is so much to do locally, we hardly used our car, except to go to Doolin to take the ferry to the islands and go for a swim in Fanore. the Tea Rooms was a regular haunt of ours. the locals are all so friendly we found it hard to leave and will definitely be back.
