Having organised a small group lunch in one of the few places that was open on a May Bank Holiday Monday, we found the meal good value, and had a pleasant dining experience. It's nice too that they knew not to interrupt obviously deep group conversation with loud background music.
On a cold evening we wandered into Letterkenny’s The Brewery Bar. It was warm and inviting, very friendly and convivial staff. Tried a couple of local brews. Having had a late lunch in Portrush, we decided to limit the calories by ordering a couple of starters from the menu. We had West Coast Wild Atlantic seafood chowder and Donegal Bay salmon and cod fish cakes. Absolutely wonderful dishes and more than enough for us. The seafood chowder was exquisite, with a wonderfully creamy seafood base but not stodgy, It was clear this Pub has a very good chef. This is a lovely Pub just off the Main Street. I recommend a visit here.
Absolutely fabulous food. Great atmosphere and excellent staff, especially young Catherine, nothing was a problem for her. Don't miss out, be sure to visit. Try the starter of salmon and cod fish cakes, the steak and the pork will not disappoint you.
Staff could not be more accommodating! Especially Odhran! Service with a smile. could not recommend more!
