If the sun is up and the sky is blue then there is nothing better to do.whether its golden sand you want or a walk in the woods Glenveagh has it all ..Nice childrens play area and there are clean tolets. Its only down side is that it would be nice to have somewhere for a sit down meal and a cup of tea but thats about it so its back to the good old butty box and blanket on the ground.Well worth a visit

Unbelievably beautiful landscape and Castle. A must visit if you are exploring Donegal. Allow a few hours to walk around the amazing gardens and Castle.

Despite the fierce October showers, we had a fantastic time at Glenveagh National Park. There are many different walks to suit all levels of fitness, or if you want you can take the bus to and from the Castle. The little tea room is really fabulous and the prices very reasonable and I'd recommend the video at the visitors centre before you venture into the rest of the park.
