I visited here with a work colleague. The first thing that hits you is " this is a classy place". Starched table clothes and napkins but very decent prices. The service is outstanding. Starters for us both included smoked salmon and goats cheese. Main courses Mexican chicken and a fillet steak. All done to perfection .. Well done to all.

We had a wonderful meal; good food, well cooked and served by very friendly and helpful staff. We would certainly eat here again and strongly recommend the restaurant to others.

We had the platter for two to start which was a trio of duck spring rolls, deep fried Brie and scallops on a bed of chorizo served on a gorgeous slate plate. So delicious & beautiful flavours. I had the surf and turf for mains which was a delicious unusual take on surf & turf; scallops with a pork fillet wrapped in Parma ham. I had the creamy champ on the side & it was perfect.

The complimentary pre-starter was a wonderful touch & so tasty; soup, & a selection of home made breads.

The service was brilliant, so efficient & our waitress was so friendly but one tiny observation, maybe it was too efficient. A little more time between courses would have been lovely but that's the only tiny criticism I would have; which may not even be a negative for some people.

The decor is fresh, light & airy and an all round relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again!!
