Lovely hotel right on the beach and main streets in Kilkee. Clean, friendly, and good food. Really enjoyed the experience. We enjoyed the food from the restaurant and the full Irish breakfast was delicious and hostess was welcoming.

Room Tip: We had the room with the window seats where we could watch the town center and the beach was just a few feet from our room.

Visited Kilkee on a whim today with my wife for a walk. We went to the Stella Maris for morning coffee. 2 coffees one scone €6.40 today in glorious weather. My wife loved the presentation of the scone. Well worth every cent. Mm mum mm. M If you are looking for off season coffee or lunch, the Stella Maris is always a winner and has always been.
Kilkee is also doing great restoration work following the terrible storm in February.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel over the last weekend in April. We were attending a wedding being held in Kilkee. Many of the wedding guests were staying in the hotel. I was a little apprehensive about the quality of the hotel, as it is only 3 stars and it didn't look brilliant from the photos. However I was in for a big surprise. We had a lovely room on the top floor of the hotel, overlooking the bay and the cliffs beyond. The room was a good size, a little old fashioned but a huge comfy bed. The bathroom had everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a sofa under the windows to relax but we didn't really spend that much time in the room in the end. The breakfast were very good. No dismal buffet here. Hot breakfasts were cooked to order and were very good. We had a couple of lunches and an evening meal in the hotel and all were excellent. The staff and service were good. Everyone was very helpful and patient with guests as the place was heaving the night before the wedding. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you visit Kilkee. It doesn't have a car park but there is sufficient available parking on the road outside the hotel or opposite it.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the sea...it will be a bit quieter as well as giving you a lovely view.

We went into the Restaurant/Bar recently during the non holiday season. It was handy located across our B&B and we walked in there without booking a table in advance, considering we were 9 people. No problem to the bar tender who asked as to bear with him a few minutes. He set up a lovely table in the bay window area, what was very appreciated by my family. I am German living in "the sunny South East" of Ireland for the nearly seven years and I was traveling with my family.
We loved the food, most of us took the offer of the day. We had a great time in there and the guy who served us was very witty (you can't beat the Irish sense of humor :)).

We booked our room just a couple days before arrival and so had a smaller room with a lower roof. But the room was comfy, the view lovely and the staff pleasant and eager to please. Great location for a stroll about town or down by the water.
