I won't write "best chowder ever" because I look forward to returning for a topper. The huge bowl of superb broth, brimming with mussels and sand clams, potatoes and fish, was accompanied by a stack of toasted brown bread. The friendly server was also the cook, cashier, and music director, acquainting the few of us dining with the songs of a brilliant guitarist whose work he enjoys and champions.
