“Very pleasant experience!”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

This is a small colourful restaurant. Seats about 40. From the moment we entered we were greeted warmly by both the waitress and the chef himself. We availed of the Early Bird menu. Though we were first to arrive, we were quickly followed by several more people, so it seems a popular spot. There were four of us and all of us were happy with the selection on the Early Bird menu. There was a pleasant ambience, the decor was pleasing and the service and food were all very satisfactory. The main courses were served with side dishes of vegetables. But the desserts were totally delicious. The rhubarb crumble was served in its own individual cast iron dish, complete with custard under the crumble and also a side serving of cream. It was fab! The chocolate fondant was incredibly tasty too. We all left well satisfied with our tummies full but not our wallet emptied, as we were happy with the final bill.

“Great food and service”
Reviewed 13 May 2013

Went with party of five to this restaurant. We had a variety of starters - all very good. One of the mains was not cooked as ordered and was replaced with a freshly cooked replacement and fresh veg without a moments hesitation. all the other mains and deserts were excellent. Wine list is a little limited. Overall a winner in this culinary desert!

“Excellent unpretentious food”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

I have eaten in this restaurant many times with friends & family. The food is excellent & good value, particularly the early bird. Fantastic bruschetta to start, not to mention caesar salad & melt in the mouth prawns. Mains all great too, creamy pepper sauce with Fillet steak delicious. Veg always really nicely seasoned. Overtall, great food.
The only issue is the decor...the restaurant itself is quite quirky but could be so much nicer. A small spend pepping it up would go a long way & would make a monumental difference to the atmospere.

“Love it here!!!”
Reviewed 2 May 2013

The food here is so delicious, I say every time the chef really knows how to cook. I just love the starters, the bruschetta with melted brie is just devine. Last week I got the bacon & cashel blue salad & it was 10/10. I am always full by the time the main course comes but I still manage a desert. It was €20 for two courses & is well worth it. We went to the Dogs last week in Waterford & had a meal there & it was soooo horrible & more expensive!!. I hope the new Caseys Steakhouse in Tramore won't affect Market Street too much.

“Intimate Dining”
Reviewed 1 May 2013

The food was not Michelin star quality, but it is one of the best restaurants in Tramore. It seats about 30 people. The food was fresh and the meat was cut thick and was tender. They have a reasonable early bird menu: 60€ for two people with a below average bottle of table wine, starter, mains and dessert. Tea or coffee was also to be included, but we were charged for it. The potatoes that came with the mains were au gratin, creamy, but the garlic was overpowering. The asparagus salad was imbalanced by too much salty, streaky rashers and too little asparagus. The ice cream is purchased from I'm guessing Musgraves. The chocolate cake was rich and gooey, like pudding. The waiter and waitress were very attentive. Four times they returned, asking if we were finished with our mains.
