This is our second year at this amazing B&B. Kathleen was as gracious and welcoming as always. My husband was sick with a cold and Kathleen brought him something warm and lemony in a cup to help him sleep. The house is beautiful and spotless. The quality of the food is amazing. Kathleen was up baking and the aroma was just heavenly. Any trip to the Shannon area should include a stay at Headley Court. Quick trip to Shannon Airport and all of the attractions in the area.

I traveled with two sisters to Ireland for two weeks in late April. We came to Bunratty to spend a couple of days and to visit the Bunratty folk park and banquet at the castle. We selected Headley Court because of its proximity to the Castle and the reviews. When we arrived we found out that Kathleen was ill and in the hospital in Galway, and though we didn't see a lot of Paul because he was with Kathleen, it didn't prevent us from having a very nice stay in their lovely B&B with Kathleen's mother and her sister taking over all the duties. The breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty and with mom's help -we got driving directions to our next destination and she called for taxis since we planned on a few guinesses after dinner at the Creamery which she recommended. She also advised us not to walk to the castle- dangerous cow path road -in the dark. We totally enjoyed our stay- the bedroom was large, the beds big- and everything very clean. When I got home I got an email from Kathleen -who hoped we had a nice time in Ireland ,and she regretted that she was not there when we were (thankfully she is well))........ How is that for Irish hospitality! If you are flying in to Shannon and/or coming to Bunratty to visit the castle, I certainly would recommend you stay with Kathleen and Paul at their Headley Court B&B. ((Great price for the room))

My wife and I stayed with Kathleen and Paul Browne at their Bed and Breakfast in Bunratty. It was a great experience. The facilities were very comfortable and clean, the food was delicious and the Brownes are spectacular hosts. We would go there again without hesitation.

Very friendly and gracious hosts. Rooms are nice size and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was pleasing to all picky and non picky eaters. The shower was fine.

Kathleen was wonderful, even helped us with our luggage. We had a early morning flight, she left a tray in our room with fruit and breakfast bars and homemade bread. The house is just beautiful. She is so helpful and friendly. Cannot say enough good things about her B&B.

Kathleen was charming and welcomed us warmly to her home. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and settled for our last night in Ireland, even giving us a scale to weigh our bulging suitcases. This is a great place to stay for a first or last night in Ireland. Bunratty Castle and Shannon Airport are minutes away, yet her location is private and quiet.
