We stayed here the night before our flight home to Chicago as it was conveniently located to Bunratty Castle and the airport. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with nice showers. Our hostess was extremely welcoming and even gave us tea and continental breakfast at 6:30am before our departure. I would definitley recommend to anyone flying in or out of Shannon.

The b&b was just what we needed on our last night in Ireland. We had two rooms, one upstairs and one down. Plenty of room in each, nice comfy beds and hot showers. The hostess, Patricia, was kind to help out in two instances where our group needed printing information and a ride to locate a lost item down the road. The breakfast was superb, she even made pancakes for our toddler! The wifi was not very strong, you had to sit in the hallway, but at least we had some. We hope to stay again on our next trip to Ireland.

Very inexpensive but excellent B&B located very close to the airport. We stayed in the family room which was very comfortable and spacious. Excellent breakfast and we loved Molly the dog. 5 minute drive to Durty Nelly's and Bunratty Castle.

This was our first stay of six nights touring Ireland and it was a wonderful place to stay. The host is gracious, helpful, and sweet. The rooms are spacious but still cozy. It felt just like home. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I couldn't have imagined a better welcome to the country.

Room Tip: We had a double en suite on the first floor. If you're traveling with luggage, first floor is th...

We stayed in the family room, with a double and 2 single beds, on our last night in Ireland so we could fly out of Shannon airport early the next morning. Patricia was a friendly and gracious hostess. She offered us tea, juice and cookies when we arrived and it was very pleasant to sit out front and enjoy them while looking at the fields and countryside.

The family room was a bit on the small side for 4 people with a lot of luggage, and the bathroom was very small, but it was very comfortable and quiet. The house is homey and located only 5 minutes or so drive up the hill from Bunratty Castle.

Patricia got up extra early at 615 am to feed us breakfast as we had to leave at 630 for the airport. Her homemade bread, rich Irish butter and jams were absolutely delicious. There is also a full assortment of cereals and fruit. It was too early for her to make a hot breakfast, but I imagine that would be delicious as well.

We unfortunately arrived too late to attend the dinner at Bunratty Castle, but we had a delightful dinner outside of Durty Nellie's facing the castle on the most beautiful night of our entire trip. The castle is very impressive. The food at Durty Nellie's was suprisingly very good. As everywhere in Ireland, the people there were extremely friendly.

I would highly recommend this B&B and would gladly stay there again. It's a great place to end (or start, if you arrive in Shannon airport) your trip to Ireland.
