We arrived just before dinner time and were greeted by Denis, who was very friendly. He provided us some local options for dinner, and we visited Durty Nelly's. We had to leave early the next morning, and Mel provided us some breakfast to-go. To note-as you're driving down the road to Innisfree, don't give up! It's farther down than you think, but it's there!

This past September I traveled to Ireland for a two week music tour on the west coast. I flew in and out of Shannon and stayed at the Innisfree B&B at both ends of the trip. Being just minutes from the airport, it was perfect for this weary traveler. It sits on a quiet country road perhaps a mile from Bunratty Castle (not to be missed). The owner, Mel, is a top rate hostess, and does everything possible to make her guests comfortable. Dining is in an inviting, sunny room with a wall of windows looking out into the garden. Breakfasts are scrumptous and huge.
On my way back through at the end of the trip, I spent several extra days here to take in the local attractions. Mel is also very helpful at arranging any day trips you might be interestd in.
I'll be returning to Ireland again this May, 2013 and most certainly will again be staying at the Innisfree. Not only is it very reasonably priced and close to the airport ... I'll be looking forward to the great Irish hospitality that truly makes me feel at home.

It was a great overall stay. The location was great; close to the Bunratty castle. The food was great; full Irish breakfast. Rooms were clean and tidy with a lot of space. Would definitely come back and stay again.

I definitely recommend the whole B and B experience to get a true taste of Ireland. Rooms were tidy and comfortable, breakfast was great with the best coffee in Ireland and the view from the front yard was gorgeous. Location is close to the most popular Bunratty sights such as the folkpark and Bunratty Castle. The creamery at the end of the road had great food and the local pub was friendly and fun. The heated mattress pad felt wonderful on tired aching bones. We loved Mel! She took great care of us.

I stayed for 2 nights in May, great breakfast and very friendly hosts. We did a lot of touring around the area - Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Bunratty Castle etc and hosts were very good with directions, maps etc. Rooms are comfortable and there are good local pubs / restaurants within 5 - 10 mintues walking.Highly recommended.

We choose to go to this B&B because it was close to the Bunratty Castle, where we had a irish night event.

The place was a bit hard to find at beginning, but you just follow the road to the end, and you'll see the house. The place's view is amazing, completely in the nature, with flowers and all.

When we arrive there, family was over with kids, but we didn't hear from them all night. In fact, I thought it add for the charm of staying in a B&B. The rooms were spacious, especially with 3 beds and clean.

Overall it was a great experience and we were pleased with our stay. We stayed there 1 night and it was really good.
