Sea Crest Budget Accommodation
Ranked #19 of 21 Ballybunion B&B and Inns
Reviewed 3 January 2012

Although the access to the beach area was literally across the road, the building(s) itself was alright. It is basically two houses that were semi detatched into one big building. The breakfast area was basically the enclosed porch. We received a voucher to eat breakfast at a local pub called the Cashen which was never open for breakfast hours. The room itself was basic. There were a few structural cracks in the walls that I believe should have been looked into but was just painted over to conceal them. There was never any hot water nor did they ever turn on the heaters in the rooms which I found disappointing. They also only took cash for their convenience, not the customers. All in all it wasn't a remarkable place to stay but decent - especially since one pub called Courtneys Public House's bathroom was an absolute dive! Compared to that, the Sea crest B & B was the Waldorf Astoria!

Room Tip: Stay here for decent price and if you like taking cold showers.
