Mary and James ... the owners perfect. Our room ... our "master" away from home. Breakfast ... the best Irish there is. View ... golf course & open fields. Service ... the extra mile in everything they do. Golf ... Ballybunion is the best in the world. And, finally, Mary and James are a personal delight!

The owner's James and Mary provided excellent service making sure all of our needs were met. I was with a party of 8 golfers and we all had a great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast each morning was delicious. I also liked how close we were to the Ballybunion golf course (right accross the street) and restaurants, stores and night life.
I can't wait to visit Ireland again including staying at The19th Lodge.

Thanks James and Mary for a great stay.

My son and I just completed a golf trip to Ireland, and had the great fortune to stay at the 19th Lodge in Ballybunion. This wonderful B&B is located across the street from Ballybunion Golf Club, has wonderful large rooms, great firm beds, warm showers, internet service, and great breakfast. Most of all, it has Mary & John Beasley, who's incredible hospitality was a can't miss bonus for our trip (along with the Old Course at Ballybunion)!

This is a great place for golfers to stay in Ballybunion, particularly if you have a car. It's just outside the entrance to the club, and the service is outstanding - big, clean rooms and a great breakfast. Mary, the owner, sees to every need - even to dropping things left in the room with the caddymaster to deliver to you when you finish your round.
To get into town (pubs, newspapers and so forth) you need a car or it's a 10 to 15-minute walk. I highly recommend it.

While on a golf vacation in Ireland, my friends and I were fortunate enough to have picked The 19th Lodge for lodging while in Ballybunion. Not only were the accomodations first class, but the lodge happens to be across the street from Ballybunion Golf Course. Mary and James were the most accomodating hosts that anyone could possibly ask for. Mary also happens to be an incredible cook that insists on cooking breakfast for her guests herself. Next time I'm in Ballybunion, I'll definitely be staying there again.

Traveled with Husband and two adult sons who golf, which was the perfect location being right across the street from Ballybunion Golf Course.

James and Mary couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating to my family as well as the other guests who stayed in their home. Each room is beautifully decorated and our mornings were started out with a great homemade breakfast prepared by Mary.

The plus side to our whole vacation was being able to stay with James and Mary who made you feel like family. They always made it a point to chat with you and find out what your plans were for the day or ask how your day was when you returned in the evening. They assisted with reservations at restaurants or suggested things to do in the areas as well.

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate The 19th Lodge a 10 and we plan on visiting again.

Eight of us guys stayed at the 19th lodge for 3 nights of our 5 night trip to golf Ireland for our 25th annual tourney. Mary and James (proprietors) treated us like kings, we enjoyed their warm hospitality, the large living room for our nightly recaps, the morning breakfast was the best in Ireland. The 19th Lodge is located right across the street from the Old Course at Ballybunion, which was a great convenience. Pubs and fine dining are just a block away. Hopefully, we can make it back in the near future.
