There's nothing much to say about here other than it was absolutely perfect.

It is situated about half a mile from the town of Ballybunion. There is a lovely view across the ocean. It's close to Ballybunion golf course.

The room was spotless. The owner was a gent. The breakfast was lovely.

You couldn't find too many places better than this anywhere.

We had a wonderful experience at the Tides. The owner was a great guy and very helpful in filling in the gaps we needed. The rooms were very clean and accommodating. Did I mention the breakfast? Great! I highly recommend this stop for anyone traveling to Ballybunion.

A group of us had the pleasure of spending five nights at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast! From the minute we arrived until we left David and Doreen treated us like family. The accommodations were fabulous. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful home away from home!!

Just home from a lovely weekend away in Ballybunion, Kerry.
Our stay in the Tides was divine so clean, so warm and snug when it got cold in the evenings.
We stay in the room that is on the web site the Master Suite room and it is a good as it looks.

David and Doreen had great suggestion each day of places to see like of the Cliffs in Bromore and the walks on the long strand along the golf course.

Were looking forward to coming back in the Spring and thanks a million for such a wonderful stay. PS you have to try the Pancakes for Breakfast !

What a treasure, what a delight! We were two couples travelling on a “trip of a lifetime” to Ireland, Scotland & London celebrating an anniversary milestone. David and Doreen opened their home, heart and hospitality to make our stay in Ireland a memory to last forever.

We were lucky enough to spend five nights at the Tides, making day trips to the beautiful countryside and golf courses surrounding Ballybunion. Prior to arrival David arranged tee times on our behalf. Once on location he went well above and beyond helping to arrange additional sightseeing adventures and adjusting tee times to accommodate our schedules. You couldn’t ask for a better host or a better story teller once we returned from our daily escapades.

Now for the accommodations… We had two upper rooms, really more like suites, overlooking the countryside. The rooms were huge, well-appointed with equally large bath/shower rooms. I have no hesitation recommending the Tides Guesthouse to any traveler heading to southern Ireland.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Tides Guesthouse, here with 8 friends for a golfing trip and we used The Tides as a base camp for our stay.
David arranged everything for us including golf reservations at each golf course. Our stay was really enjoyable, the guesthouse has all modern amenities, the food was superb including the pancakes in the morning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable a great place to relax after a long days golf. Complementary WIFI is great and I cannot recommend the Tides highly enough as a golfing base. Look forward to next years Trip and will gladly be returning to the Tides!

David is a very entertaining host and a wealth of information! Great breakfast and the accommodation was perfect for the 7 of us. Just a short drive from town. Recommend the seaweed bath at Collins, a unique experience.
