I had coffee here last weekend as there was nowhere else open on Sunday morning. It's definitely a no-frills venue, that gives the impression of being in somewhere like McDonald's. The food isn't bad, and the portions are relatively generous. Service isn't great, and staff have a habit of walking in and out of the main door without closing it! Not the worst experience ever, but a few small improvements on attention to detail would hugely improve this place.

I have visited this cafe a few times recently, and every time it's only because the other cafes in blessington have been closed. Firstly the food - abundant in quantity, and that's the only good thing I'm afraid. Tasteless, stodgy, reheated and truly unappetising. The bread for some reason, is cut so thick you can hardly fit it into your mouth. The worst thing however though is that the floors are constantly dirty. Always littered with food debris regardless of how busy it is. Avoid and head to grange con or Avon ri - much better standards of food AND cleanliness!

If your hungry and you want a no frills, hearty breakfast well this is the place for you. Situated in The West Wicklow village of Blessington this coffee shop/ Restruant has an in store bakery and all the food is cooked fresh. A friend and myself were out hill walking in the area and were ravenous on our return to the village. We went in to Kennys Kitchen and ordered the large cooked breakfast which is served with freshly baked wholemeal bread and tea. Bacon, eggs, sausage, pudding and mushrooms, the works. It was delicious and was exactly what we wanted. The Restruant is basic but spotless clean and wafting of freshly cooking bread. The staff were friendly and efficient. So to sum it all up it's good fresh food for those who don't mind doing without linen tablecloths and silver cutlery.
