Spent Monday and Tuesday nights last week in the hotel. We were upgraded to a suite. It was beautiful. We had a very large sitting room com kitchen. The sitting room was really luxurious. We had dinner on both nights and the food is out of this world and staff really helpful and very pleasant. The bar is lovely too. The golf course is challenging but what views. Out of this world!! We will certainly visit shortly again and would highly recommend.

We were a party of 20 celebrating our sons confirmation. Everything about the lunch we booked was very good. The manager who greted us made us feel both welcome and appreciated that we were having lunch, other managers please note this initial welcome is very important in setting the tone of a lunch. The choice we had was excellent something for all palates and each dish was well prepared and presented. The waiters were very good on hand when one needed service and not intrusive. The setting is really nice overlooking the golf course and with the big windows you had a wonderful vista. Congradulations to all involved

Stayed at the Tulfarris for a 3 night break. Perfect for golfer and as I'm not a golfer It still was a lovely stay. Beautiful location,in the middle of nowhere but if you don't have sat nav you could be looking for a while. The signage from the main road needs to be more obvious. Just a few negative points, the staff although lovely need to have more initiative, passing by unclean tables without doing anything about them and being more attentive to the guests wouldn't go amiss. Room on ground floor was lovely but I had to clean the gunge off the shower tiles, not good. Also no adaptor for hair dryer, but this was put right straight away. Bar menu okay but limited and it would be nice to see more daily specials introduced. I did have the smoked salmon/ prawn salad but no wheaten bread as on the menu and the pasta dish had cheddar cheese on it instead of Parmesan..just the little details missing. Overall,a golfer's paradise but feel it is a good 3* not 4*

Stayed overnight with a round of golf on a recent internet deal. Cannot believe the value we received. Staff were fantastic. The scenery on the golf course was breath taking and the suite just perfect. Only disappointment was not staying longer. Highly recommended, especially to golfers and couples looking for a quiet romantic break.

Stayed overnight for a wedding. Room was comfortable, ground floor overlooking garden/play area.
Located on golf course.
Pleasant enough for a short stay. We were not interested on much as only there overnight to attend a wedding. For this is served the purpose perfectly.
Breakfast was limited by satisfactory, although lacking in some fresh juice.

Spent one night via a Rewarding Times promo in Tulfarris during the week. Nice hotel . Great room. Good food. Lovely golf course. Most of all - excellent staff e.g. I forgot my phone in the lobby and when I called it from my wife's phone , her first name came up on the screen so the young man in reception went to the trouble of checking the register for the name my wife had and when he found it, called our room - a smart guy . Dining , bar staff etc. , all very attentive and a very good ad for Ireland

Room Tip: Golf course view and window table in the dining room

We decided to stay here as it looked very nice on website for our anniversary,to say i was dissapointed is an understatement. We got ground floor suite it was anything but luxurious i thought as been on ground floor there should definetely be some form of blind curtain on windows of bedroom area as people were looking in windows on passing. The sitting room area was drab and mismatched furniture the ceiling needed touching up in a lot of places also the curtains in this area were not on bar properely and just liked they did nt care what way it was left for people entering the room also left in room air freshener not checked on leaving room.Staff nice in reception we booked table in restaurant only to find out was not opening restaurant as not enough people booked so had opt for bar area it really had no atmosphere what so ever on tv was sky sports football which we previously seen on tv week before, granted this was a tuesday evening not many was dining in bar but the seats were very low and you had knees up close to face while eating we tryed differant ones but all were the same
seats difficult when your a tall couple just found the bar to be very ordinary on saying this the food was fabulous we left after eating as nobody was in bar felt like nuisance to barman behind the also the pints of beer not good .I really think the only saving grace to this place is the food we had breakfast in lime tree restaurant next morning and what made it was the view food and very nice server.

Room Tip: Choose higher up looking onto golf course
