Stayed here for two nights, perfect location... Our bedroom well if you're looking for fancy decor in bedrooms and bathrooms, well this is not for you..Having said that, the staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were fresh and clean and excellent value..We had one evening dinner included in our w/e offer and decided to eat on the 2nd night too...

A great hotel that is always clean and warm with great food and drink. I stay there on business about 10 nights in a year and it never lets me down. Now its not a modern hotel with fancy bed rooms and fancy food that you wonder why you are still hungry after your meal. The rooms are warm and clean and great value. The food is great value bar food that offers 2 courses Mon. to Thurs for €12.50 served by great staff. If you want 5 star dont stay here but if you want a great little hotel in a lovely part of Ireland then this is for you.

Spent the recent bank holiday here and was dubious about the offer price to stay. I was not disappointed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food in the bar and the lovely restaurant was excellent - and i am a fussy beggar, not easily pleased! The breakfast too was scrumptious - all served with a smile. It was quite busy too with a great atmosphere in the bar. I highly recommend this hotel for a great wee weekend away!

I am probably writing this review in the wrong section, however i felt it needed a recommendation even though we didn't actually stay at the hotel.

We enjoyed a Sunday evening meal here. The restaurant/bar was very busy and initially we were seated at the bar where we ordred our food but with a promise of a table as soon as one became available. True to her word the waitress had us seated and our food arrived. It was hot, tasty and nicely cooked. The service was very quick and with a smile.

Overall, if you want a quiet meal for 2 it would be useful to keep in mind that this is a family restaurant but the food was good and value for money.

I found this hotel a few months ago on a business trip to Buncrana, it was late at night when i arrived so went straight to bed. The next morning my experience with some of the greatest food i have ever had started the breakfast was excellent especially the sausages, in the evening when i returned to the hotel for the second night stay i had dinner in the bar it was amazing the menu had plenty of choice was well planed out and catered for all including different dietery requiments I do not have enoughh room here to tell everyone of my delight for this hotel and its best assit its food top marks to the Chef.

I felt that i had to write a recent review of this hotel and make sure that anyone in the area on holiday doesn't miss this little gem of a hotel. We have been here quite a few times since we first found it. The staff are excellent and the Manager Patricia is very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. I am Coeliac and that is another reason i liked this hotel. The menu there caters for Coeliacs and has it clearly marked . The fact that local people frequent the hotel is another good sign it always has a good crowd in without the service suffering. Make sure you don't miss out on it!

Overall our stay at this hotel was a pleasant one. The staff was very nice and the food was good. The manager (blonde lady) of the hotel however, was very unprofessional. When we entered the hotel she was unwelcoming and lacked basic manners. We had a small complaint about the food and she made a very rude comment about the situation. She made us feel like we were unwelcomed there.
