“Great Experience”

We went as a goup of 6 to celebrate a 30th Birthday in September to Lahinch Surf School, and it was a brilliant experience. Everyone got involved from age 57 to age 6 and were very enthusiastic. We surfed for 2 days and learned a lot, I can't wait to bring return. Great place to surf whether in a big or small group would definitely recommend it

“College Surf Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2013

I brought a group of 30 people on a Surf Trip in March to Lahinch Surf School, and it was a brilliant experience. Everyone got involved and the Surf Instructors with the school were really encouraging and enthusiastic. We surfed for 2 days an learned a lot, I can't wait to bring back a new group next year and do it all again. :)
Great place to surf whether in a big or small group would definitely recommend it.

“Good Instructors”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2013

the instructors were very nice, and the girls in the hut were lovely, (niamh is stunning). it was raining the days we were there so having nowhere to change into and out of your wet suit was a problem.any sort of a shelter would have been better than a wet and wind and public carpark, even an big old van or bus would have done. also, at the very least a bench to sit on for when you're trying to pull your legs out of the wetsuit. other than that, great.

Thanks for giving our awesome crew a positive review. We do have a changing room just 1 min away. It is mainly for ladies though, which works fine for the men unless it's drissley or lashing rain:) Prior to that we had changing tents - they were amazing - however the local authorities insisted we take them down:( Next time you are down just ask us for the changing rooms.

PS: re gorgeous Niamh. I think you've got the name wrong but the 3 girls who work the hut all accepted the compliment for themselves:) Good job:) john

“Super for young and old alike.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2013

I've been here 6 or 7 times now. Recently I convinced my dad and little sister to join me. They were skeptical of being able to surf their first time out but the guys at Lahinch Surf School were amazing. They were really nice when we arrived and our instructor spent loads of time with my dad and sister in the water helping them to build their confidence and ability. In the end they came out of the water wrecked tired but had had an amazing time. I'm going back this weekend with them and I think they may have caught the bug! Thanks so much for being so patient, helpful and sound! Also, when you progress a little they'll give you a hard board and more advanced tips to make sure you progress with every lesson. Couldn't recommend these guys enough.

Thanks for your great review. Glad the hard board is working. The 10foot board worked really well with your dad on the first lesson. I can safely say it is the biggest and easiest board in Lahinch to learn to surf on. Keep surfing:) See you soon:) Thanks again. John
