Today we held a family gathering to celebrate our sons Christening. The staff and surroundings in the Falls were second to none. We had opted for a fixed menu for our group, and it was just exceptional. The service was brilliant, the food was just exquisite. The management were there to check up on things, but in just the right way. We were under no time pressures, and enjoyed one of the most relaxing family gatherings in fine surrounds, with nothing but the best of food. We left with an even better impression of the Falls Hotel than when we arrived. Well done to all he team there, thank you!

Room Tip: The Restaurant is just brilliant, with stunning views over the river Inagh.

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
Thank you for your lovely kind words and I am delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable Christening at the Falls Hotel & Spa. Your compliments about our staff, service and food are greatly appreciated. You were also blown away by our scenic location and the surroundings of the hotel. As you point out in your room tip the views of the river Inagh from our Cascades restaurant are incredible.
We hope this is the first of many more family gatherings at the Falls!

We stayed one night in this 'hotel' and don't honestly know how it is still in business in this day and age.
The rooms are very out dated, with an overpowering smell of very old carpet and dampness. I can't understand how they justify the prices they charge. I was so disappointed as I was expecting a nice night away after checking out the pics on the website.
The 1st room we were given was so bad I almost started to cry, there was nothing but a wall outside the very small window then a step down into the dark alcove to the bed, it was tiny, dark and no better than some of the $5 a night hostels I've stayed in whilst traveling Asia, at least you expect that standard at that price range.
When we complained we were moved, the staff member didn't bat an eyelid, obviously used to people wanting to be moved from that aweful room.
The next one wasn't much better once we found it through a maze of corridors and nooks and crannies. I shudder to think how anyone would find there way out in a fire!
I've only ever used this site to share places we really enjoyed but feel so let down and dumbfounded by the existance of this place selling itself in a price range far above what it should be I had to worn people. People work hard these days and deserve to get value for there money.

Dear Trip Advisor Members,
Thank you for posting this review and your feedback is greatly appreciated however I am very disappointed to see that you did not enjoy your stay at the Falls. We try our utmost to ensure people get value for money when they visit us and we are often complimented for the very budget friendly offers we sell.
In relation to our bedrooms I was happy to see that we could offer you an alternative room but unfortunately this also did not meet your requirements. Our website accurately convey our bedrooms but as with every hotel some rooms are slightly nicer. We are inundated with requests for example with room overlooking our waterfall and the river Inagh but unfortunately not every room can have a view.
I hope you reconsider your opinion of our hotel and give us another chance to prove we are a lot more than a hostel.

Kind regards,
Dermot Hogan

Just returned from a two night stay at the Falls Hotel and Spa. I would highly recommend. Staff did an excellent job of accommodating our large group which including 50 teenagers! The food was excellent as well. And the view of the falls and short walk to the pub was a plus. The only complaint was weak Wifi - but I'm sure that is an easy fix. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for adding to our memorable time in Ireland.

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
We are delighted you enjoyed your recent trip to Ireland and particular your visit to the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon Co. Clare. The views and our location left a lasting impression as did the standard of food we have on offer.
We cater for large groups all the time so I'm delighted we met once again our usual high standards.
I hope many of your entourage return to visit us again.

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
Thank you for posting such a positive review. It's great to hear that we are impressing both visitors and locals equally. Your kind words about our food, staff and bedrooms are all respected.
Unfortunately it appears you have an issue with one member of our staff but I don't feel this is an appropriate location to air what seems to be a personal issue.
All of our staff try their very best to ensure the experience of all our guests is an excellent one!
I hope you continue to come back to the Falls for many more years to come.

Stayed here in January for the set dancing weekend. From the moment we arrived into the hotel the staff couldn't be more helpful to us - nothing was too much to ask for even thou the place was jam packed for the weekend that was in it.. Have enjoyed this weekend in The Falls the past few years - it's a credit to the place to see so many of the same staff there since day one. Plenty of fabulous food morning, noon & night. Really looking forward to next year already..

My partner and I stayed for one night, we had asked for a quiet room which we got not a sound even though there was a wedding on. The room was very big had a double and single bed, but the bathroom was very dated , shower very poor.We used the pool steam room sauna and outdoor hot tub ,very nice indeed. I also got a body massage in the spa which was wonderful, thanks again Nicola. Had our dinner in the Cascades Restaurant which was very nice, Breakfast was also very good . The grounds around the hotel were not great looked very rough and not cared for but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: We got a room on the 6th floor which was very quite

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
It's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us at the Falls Hotel & Spa.
We always try to ensure that all of our guests have a nice time so it's positive to hear that we still made sure you were looked after just as much as the wedding guests. Overall you had some lovely comments about our Riverspa and our Cascades Restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast ticked all the right boxes while the staff and facilities at the Riverspa were equally impressive.
We hope this is the first of many visits!
