John and Kay were very hospitable. We spent our first evening in the country at Cherbury and they went above and beyond to help us settle in. One of the best breakfasts we had the entire time we were there!

We just returned from three weeks touring Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We stayed at three hotels and 8 bed & breakfast homes.
Cherbury is in the small village of Enniskerry, close to Powerscourt and Glendalough. This is a truly lovely property. The house is located on at least an acre and surrounded by a manicured garden. The immediate neighborhood has many exquisite homes. Our room was compact, but adequately furnished with one double and one single bed. There was a makeup table for the wife and a coffeemaker. The bath was small, but very clean and comfortable. The location was very quiet on a cul-de-sac about a kilometer from the center of the village. The owners, John & Kay, were very helpful with information about local tourist sites and restaurants. John also helped with information about the best roads to take to our next stop at Kilkenny. The breakfasts were wonderful and served in a beautiful formal dining room adjacent to a lovely sunken lounge. This is a great location for taking day trips to local sites. You will not be disappointed staying at Cherbury.
