My partner and I were recently visiting Ireland from Melbourne. While we were here, a friend recommended Anne Marie's B&B in Enniskerry. The area itself is so picturesque, and this B&B really made us feel at home. Anne Marie was warm and friendly and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She was available to us whenever we needed anything and gave us wonderful suggestions for places to visit in the area (the fabulous Powerscourt estate and gardens with Avoca on the grounds, as well as a darling little cafe called Poppy's in Enniskerry village - to name just two).
The bedroom was exactly what we were looking for - comfortable bed, peaceful and beautifully decorated. The house is large, which meant we had plenty of space and weren't interrupted. It is also surrounded by lovely land with places to sit and relax and enjoy the idyllic scenery in the mountains. Dublin city is also very accessible from here.
This B&B is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a friendly welcome from the locals, peaceful and romantic scenery, with a touch of traditional Ireland. Thank you so much, Anne Marie, for our thoroughly enjoyable stay in your village! We will be back - without a doubt!
