That museum is small but so interesting. The Wee Hannah Exhibition and her extraordinary life story are so moving. And the place is not only a building like any others, it's really one of those workhouses used during the painful famine times.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 9 April 2014

The cafe was not available, being used by a group of ladies, and not a lot to see in the exhibition. Could make more of this place. Not worth the entrance fee.

“Informative and interesting”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

The workhouse exhibition was very well structured and flowed well, providing the visitor with a real sense of appreciation of one individual's story from the era. This made the experience more personable. The scale model was also useful in order to grasp the layout of the workhouse when it was operational. The audio was really excellent. The staff at the workhouse could not have been more helpful, and it was nice to be able to enjoy tea and cake after. We went on a rainy day, it was a perfect activity.
