We ate at the bar the first night having found difficulty in finding somewhere to sit as it was so full. The last night in Dunfanaghy we ate in the restaurant as a treat from our daughter. We chose unfortunately the full dinner with 4 courses and were able to manage only 2 courses which were delicious and beautifully presented but costly.about it?

Arnold's is great for a meeting place, a quiet pint, a few drinks, a pub quiz or a bit of traditional music ... but I'm afraid to say, I've never had a good food experience in Arnold's. The staff are excellent but i can't say the same about the current chef. Twice this summer I had to send bar food back. Seemed like the chef didn't know or care what was being sent out. Therefore I didn't eat in Arnold's Seascape restaurant this year, but I hadn't any desire to after bringing friends last year and it was disappointing. Hopefully Arnold's will catch up and realise that there is a lot more competition in the town now...?

We stayed here for 5 nights B&B, and had 2 dinners in Seascapes.
The food throughout our stay was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the cooked breakfast was cooked to order. No matter how many people were in for breakfast, the staff seemed to cope very well with the numbers.
Dinner was excellent. I think it is 35 euros for the 3 courses and very well worth it. One particular dish was fantastic and most memorable. It was a scallop and asparagus main course with an utterly delicious sauce.
With the food being so good, and everything about the hotel being perfect, we look forward to returning and ensuring that we have more meals in Seascapes.

A very pleasant meal with good service. I haven't eaten in the hotel restaurant but the bar menu is very good. Half portions for the kids as well as a specific kids menu
Well worth a visit.

We stayed 2 nights in Arnolds Hotel. It is a family run hotel and all the staff are so welcoming. Really enjoyable stay but the rooms are really old-fashioned and badly need to be done up! We had dinner in the bar restaurant and it was lovely! We spent the night in the bar and there was a great atmosphere. Quite pricey seen as the hotel is so old-fashioned though.
