Typical Irish pub with good local musicians bango. guitar and tin whilstle. Great Guinness. They also do pizzas, which looked appealing

As it says in the title, just what you need for a night in a pub with the added bonus of wood fired pizza cooked out the back. Tick one more Donegal box!

A very good, arguably the best, pub in Dunfanaghy. A place to go in knowing no-one and come out knowing everyone! The service is good, the atmosphere great and if you want a great wood fired pizza from 'out back' then it is hard to beat. They pour a great pint of guinness but are perhaps less discerning if you enjoy wine! On a good night it is the place to be!

Patsy Dan's is truly a hidden jewel in Dunfanaghy's crown...where to start? The camp site was fantastic....close to town with access to water and public conveniences. The back garden which was quaint and quirky and homely housed a wood fired pizza oven which produced THE best pizzas ...all local produce and very fresh. Staff working on the pizzas were friendly, professional, energetic and vibrant and so warm and engaging...on the night it was raining we ate our pizzas in one of the sheds that have been restored and filled with upcycled furniture....idyllic and made me feel as if I was having fresh food in a rustic restaurant. Loved it. Pizza was followed by a few drinks in Patsy Dan's bar....again we met friendly and courteous staff and lots of smiling faces. There was live music every evening except quiz night and the bar was dog friendly....bliss for us. We only intended staying one night and ended up staying 6 nights and reluctantly dragged ourselves away only because we had work the following day. A truly wonderful, unique and relaxing experience and I would highly recommend the campsite, the pizza and the bar ........long live Patsy Dan's....it really is a unique and wonderful experience. Thanks you for a great holiday.

We stopped in for dinner, not realizing they do not serve food but ended up delighted by the local grad music, friendly staff, and great crowd. Smiles all around.
