I stayed in the cottages with a group of friends, we arrived to the fire lite, a very friendly host who explained how everything work, the location of the local pubs and the best restaurants in Killala. The cottage was so clean and had everything you might want dishwasher washing machine dryer gas heating open fire electric shower. It also allowed pets which was very welcome. There were 3 bedrooms, bathroom and ensuite al to a very high standard. Will definitely be back. Loads of nice beaches around playground for kids nearby to.

“Lovely cottage in scenic location.”
Reviewed 2 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We were really impressed with our holiday in the Old Denary cottages. We got a warm welcome from our hostess Elizabeth, who filled us in on all the local amenities. The cottages are very comfortable providing all the facilities one could ask for. The setting in this beautiful historical village is amazing. The cottages directly overlook the bay and are within minutes of many beautiful beaches e.g. Enniscrone. They are the perfect base for day trips to some of the best scenic locations on the wild Atlantic way. All in all,a great experience. We will visit again!

Reviewed 2 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Village packed with history and beautiful scenary. Cottages in a great location, spacious, warm with amazing views. Staff so friendly and great you can bring your pets. Cottages fully equiped with all you could need. Washer, drier, Dishwasher etc. Lovely open fire with turf supplied! Walk out the door to sea views and a round tower behind you. Check out the Open door restaurant also on the coast road for dinner. Great steaks and seafood! Check out Downpatrick Head also for a lovely walk and amazing views!

“Wonderful base for our wedding”
Reviewed 26 April 2017 for a stay in August 2016

Can't thank Elizabeth enough for her support & help with our wedding. We were travelling over in some numbers and she was accommodating in terms of not only when we arrived at her place but also helping find alternative accommodation for those who she couldn't fit in. The cottages were Wonderful - clean, perfect location, all the mod cons you need & the set up made it perfect for a big group trip. Definitely recommend the fishing too!

Thanks Elizabeth!

“Fabulous stay, highly recommend!”

Will definitely be returning, loved our stay. We had 4 houses between a bunch of friends and kids for a long weekend. The houses were clean, comfy and very well equipped, with lovely views. Very welcoming host and a cosy fire lit when we arrived with extra fuel (central heating provided too). Felt totally at home, suited to both adults and kids, we had a fantastic holiday there. Situated looking over the bay in Kilalla with pubs and restaurant a short walk away and fantastic beaches (such as Lacken) a short drive away, or the quirky yet lovely seaweed baths in Enniscrone. Look forward to returning and exploring the area more. Perfect for all, couples looking for a quiet retreat, a family base for a long stay or a meet up with old friends.
