We stayed here our last two nights in Ireland. It is convenient to the DART train in Howth, which takes about 30 minutes into the heart of Dublin, also very close to the airport. There are also some great restaurants in Howth on the pier, we had some excellent seafood! Our room was clean and comfortable. It feels as if you are staying in someone's home moreso than other b&b's that we stayed in.

This B&B is basically a home in a subdivision in what could be considered a bedroom community of Dublin. We stayed here on our last night in Ireland, and it was a nice place, though there's not much to do in Sutton.

The house is clean and there are many beautiful roses out front (Tom spent most of his time while we were there working in his rose garden-- you can tell he puts a lot of work into those roses!). The room was clean and comfortable, though the bathroom was very small.

Because of an early flight, we missed out on the Irish breakfast, but Tom left cereal, juice and coffee out for us so that we could have something to eat before we left.

We had a lot of trouble finding this place because there are several
roads with similar sounding names and there weren't very many signs. We
wasted time driving around trying to figure it out for ourselves but
once we finally called Eileen Staunton she gave us clear directions (we
should have called right away). The B&B is actually very easy to get to
once you know the way.
Mrs. Staunton warmly welcomed us to her home despite the fact that we
showed up late (around 8:30 I think).
The breakfasts she prepared were excellent, especially the oatmeal;
there was no need for lunch later on! The room was clean and nicely
furnished. Azure is close to Howth (a nice seaside suburb of Dublin) and
there is public transportation available to Dublin city center (I think
it was about a 1/2 hour train ride). The entrance room to the house has
travel brochures and information for guests; there was additional
information available in our bedroom. Eileen Stauton was very helpful and
offered advice on transportation and local restaurants.
We e-mailed the Stauntons prior to our stay and they did a great job
communicating with us, which could not be said of all places. We
recommend this B&B to anyone with a car who wants to visit Dublin city and
wants a quiet place to sleep.
