“An oasis in the woods”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

A good find on our way back from Swanage. Tucked away in the woods is a lovely Tea Room and walks around the Blue Pool. Also a display of teddies, gift shop and some plant sales.

“Stunning view!”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Such a nice place for walking or having a picnic. Stunning view and very peaceful. It could take up to 30 mins to walk around. There are a lot of benches so you can have a break anytime. Not a wheelchair-friendly though.
The musuem was okay but very small.

The only downside there was a rude staff in the cafe so avoid her if you can!

A very pleasant and peaceful place, gentle walk through wooded area around the pool, which on a sunny day is amazing.

“Lovely Walk, Good Cafe & a Fascinating Museum”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Although we were warned that the Blue Pool was mainly green, as it turned out when the sun did come out the pool was quite blue.

The trails are well marked and not too strenuous.

Cafe was just what was needed.

The unexpected highlight was the museum including information about the owner & his varied career. I wish I'd had a father who built Formula Six racing cars!
And the dressed up bears were a delight even to us oldies.

So, a varied attraction and well worth the price.
