Our newly launched restaurant The Garden Kitchen serves quality locally sourced food along with the Garden Grub kiosk in the garden. An extensive events programme runs throughout the year.

I visited this place many time as a child, but have not been for many years. I was delighted to see all the changes that have been made. The entire place has really opened up, making it much more accessible and well laid out. There is a huge area to look around and all beautifully planted.

Thank you for posting a review of your visit to Ness. Our visitors often remark on the way in which Ness has both developed and matured since their last visit. We have hopes to redevelop the Potting Sheds and adjacent areas in the next two years which will improve your visitor experience and provide much needed wet weather provision.

We hope you will visit us regularly in the future to watch our plans come to fruition.

Kind regards,

Lovely, elegant, well stocked and beautiful. A great 'roam-about' experience with far too much to take in during one visit alone.
The different sections unfold and surprise as you move around and we kept being impressed with each twist and turn.
A lovely, reasonably priced ice-ream topped the morning/afternoon off nicely and we would heartily recommend a visit, whether that be from a gardener's point of interest or for a more casual walk around with the family.
The plant centre is compact and perhaps a wider range of plants would have been better and we were expecting the 'tea-hut' to have been open earlier on in our visit.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit to Ness, visitor feedback is very important to us and it is pleasing to read and pass on your positive review to the team. Due to our size we are unable to carry the breadth of plant stock in our Garden Store that you might find at a Garden Centre - however we are moving towards propagating Ness specific plants which are not commercially available elsewhere.

Thank you for visiting Ness and we look foward to welcoming you back again soon.

Kind regards,

Thought we'd have a quick look at these gardens on the way home from a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks. A quick look? After three hours we still did not think we had done it justice. So much to see and we obviously visited at just the right time to appreciate the colourful rhododendrons. The cultivated beds looked well maintained with plants clearly marked.

I suspect in future, Cheshire Oaks will not be the primary destination when we are in this area!!

Make it a day out, especially if youve got the Gardeners World May issue, then it's 2-1 entry (£6.50 for two!) The azaleas are brilliant at this time of the year and the rock gardens are spectacular. Good map and most areas wheelchair friendly. Cafe is good too, with lovely staff.....but management is terrible...if you get the right order at the right table...then you've been lucky!

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to Ness - we are pleased that you enjoyed the garden and made use of the GW 2 for 1 offer. A new operations manager has joined the Garden Kitchen and she is aware of recent review comments which she is addressing in leading the team forward.

We hope to welcome you back again in the near future.

Kind regards

We have meant to visit Ness Gardens for sometime now , but never really got round to it, but it is well worth a visit. It would have been even better I would think on a sunny day , it was a bit overcast on the day , but that didn't dampen our spirits . We met friends and had coffee in the cafe, which was nicely laid out and spacious , you just sit down and a member of staff takes your order and brings to your table , the refreshments are excellent and the staff friendly and helpful . We started our walk round ,it was truly amazing , and well laid out ,with a multitude of well established plants from around the world . Spring has been particularly good this year , and the Rhododendrons, azaleas , camellias and magnolias , are in full bloom , this was early May , and the variety of colours is out of this world , a must see, it is a great day out for young and old , talking of which if you are in need of a sit down there are plenty of seats doted around and about , there is an alpine garden and heathers as well , there are acres of open space and plenty of fresh air , and splendid views towards North Wales , there are some chickens on site as well . We were with a group and had some lunch , home made soup and a nice selection of sandwiches , one of our group was gluten free and the chef came out to see her , so that was impressive . There are toilets on site which very clean, also there is a gift shop , and a little plant nursery . There is a large car park ,and parking is free. All in all a very pleasant day out , perfect family day out , so go on get out , and see for yourself , you won't be disappointed .. Just superb and well worth the visit.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent experience. Customer feedback is important to us to help us to maintain and improve our visitor experience. We are pleased that you made use of our Gardners' World offer and enjoyed the garden. We are of course disappointed that you appear to have had problems in the Garden Kitchen and the management of Mosiac Hospitality have sought to investigate this matter. who have provided the following direct response from Sadie Anderson-Mann, Operations Manager for Mosaic Hospitality to your concerns...
