The gardens are exceptional, but don't let the CAFE let it down.We went to the cafe after visiting the gardens which were wonderful.
The staff especially one particular waitress was obnoxious I was stunned at her attitude.
I accidently knocked a jug of cream over which went over my husbands wallet on the table. I ran towards the waitress for help and she threw a crumpled up blue roll at me,and then watched from affar whilst we struggled to clear it up.The cafe was empty at this time, but no attempt was made from 5 people in the kitchen who were stood around laughing and joking probable at us to help us.I did speak to a manager of the Cafe later who did apologise but had no control over her staff.

A lovely place to view the Dee estuary, take a serious stoll, admire the plants or play with the grand children.

We visited last week and it was a glorious autumnal day. We went as a couple but there is definitely lots to do for younger children with play areas all over the place. There are lots of benches and deck chairs so there are lots of places to sit down and just admire the splendour around you. It's such a beautiful place. Even if you're not that interested in plants, the views and the colours are fabulous. It's a great place to enjoy just as a walk. We saw loads of birds including a peregrine falcon. As there are no dogs allowed in the gardens, there is no dog poo! Fab! We are in the cafe. Had the soup and it was yummy. All the staff are lovely and friendly. We loved it so much we joined as friends of Ness Gardens and went back again the next day!
Make sure you visit!
