Whilst it wasn't the longest trip in the world it was very enjoyable. The welcome we received was very warm and friendly and after a short DVD we were treated to 10 tastings of a wide range of very delicious cheese.

Thelma made sure my 9 year old son was involved in this which was nice for him and he felt part of the whole experience. Thelma was very passionate about her produce and took time to explain the processes involved with making the cheese.

Yes the inside of the cheese making part had condensation but we were warned of this before we went in but we could still see some of what was going on. This a completely free attraction and if you are expecting a big site it's not but if you love good cheese and great customer service this is the place to go.

The published information about this attraction is very misleading. There is mention of trying 10 different cheeses and viewing the chesse making, neither of which were available the day we visited. The cheese viewing is a perspex panel over a conveyor belt which was steamed up, but despite this, nothing was happening anyway. There were a few people in the shop at the time so we never got to try any cheese either and left empty handed. After a tortuous drive up there with a four and six year old, we were all very disapointed with the experience and would definitely not recommend it if you are going with a family.

We happened to stop off here on a rainy day and were so pleasantly surprised by what we found. Admittedly it was a trek through narrow country roads but definitely worth the effort. We didn't have a huge amount of time so we just went straight to the cheese tasting. We had just missed a production of cheese, but the lady explained the process and was extremely knowledgeable and happy to talk about the business. We tasted 10 cheeses. I wasnt expecting much but actually they were really good. Ended up buying lots. Cant wait to bake my Golden Cenarth Cheese!

Not far from Cenarth Falls, itself a lovely place for a wander, is Caws Cenarth. Watching the cheese being made is fascinating for the kids (and the adults). However, the eating is the best part! Good selection from the shop, and a very nice small cafe make this well worth a short stop, or combine with a walk around the falls. Very friendly and highly recommended

We visited the farm just as work had started on the new Visitor's Centre. Didn't see much. However we got to sample a wonderful range of cheeses, all made of site by the family. Of course, having tasted it I just had to buy some. It's freezable so after a month we are still enjoying it. The only problem we experienced was trying to find the farm, the local council is restricting directional signage which make it difficult to find a very secluded but great attraction.
