My husband and I stayed here for one night in February 2014. We stayed in the Skye room which was clean and comfortable. Helen was a great host and cook. Dinner and Breakfast were both delicious, all home made. Great location with fantastic views. Would highly recommend!

We spent two nights at Split Rock Croft last July and it was simply wonderful. The location is amazingly beautiful with stunning views all around. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. We got dinner both nights and it was some of the best food we experienced on our vacation. Breakfast was great too.

Our children free-ranged all around the croft and had a great time rock climbing and walking on the beach.

Clachtoll has been a favourite destination on the north west coast of Scotland ... To stay at the Split Rock Croft ( a working croft ) was a bonus ... accomodation the garden room was more like a 5 star hotel suite ...huge with fully kitted kitchen so self catering is an option.. But don't miss out on Helen's cooking dinner and breakfast outstanding .. Now back to the room ..views spectacular ..highland cows hens roaming freely private beaches and sunsets spectacular ..new built property .. Warm ,cosy, and Spotless , great hospitality ... The best place we have stayed in for years ..can't recommend it highly enough .

Room Tip: The garden Room was exceptional value !

This is a magnificent place to stay, location as always top class, however for a beg and breakfast it's like staying in a five star hotel, with the best customer service ever experienced on a holiday,

The owners have thought of it all , great breakfast, you can even have dinner cooked which is brill..

Can't wait to visit again,

Room Tip: Garden room top class, but so is the other room both to a high standard.

Our decision to stay in this area was rather last minute and we came upon Split Rock Croft by accident. How lucky that was - a lovely house in a beautiful setting with ideal hosts and superb food with the option of dinner - home grown vegetables, home-baked bread and local products.
We were impressed with the local knowledge and willingness to share their experiences of coming to live in this remote part of Scotland. The coastal walking north to Point of Stoer and south to Lochinver were all I would have wanted. I'm sure we'll be back.

What a fantastic place to stay! The views are stunning, the location on the bluff incredibly beautiful. A walk on the huge property of the working croft, including the two private beaches is a pure west coast experience.

The house itself is newly built and spotlessly clean and offers breathtaking views from all the rooms.

The hosts Helen, Graham and their son Jack are wonderful people and have created quite a special place there. We are lucky, that they share it with us! :-)

Also Helen is a excellent cook and nearly all the food on the table comes from the croft. Be happy to enjoy her breakfast and maybe even a dinner!

And maybe you will meet Sam, their "special" cockrell with ptsd ;-) - if he has not gone into the soup yet: It is probably the only cock that likes to be caressed behind the head and under the chin.

Sadly we were here only for one night, but we enjoyed every minute of it!

Had an amazing time - could not believe the quality for the price. Stunning accommodation, most generous and welcoming owners, views are breath-taking....and the breakfast is fit for champions! Staying anywhere else after this can only be a let-down...!

I simply cannot recommend this B&B highly enough.
