Description: The Bridge Inn(The Trap)is an old traditional pub positioned on the Banks of the Llangollen canal in the village of Chirk Bank. Chirk Bank is the first village that forms the Pontcysyllte World Heritage Site as you leave England and enter Wales. known as the last pub in England, The Bridge Inn offers fantastic views of Thomas Telford aqueduct and Henry Robertson viaduct that sit together passing over the fast flowing Ceriog River. Enjoy a relaxing drink and meal outside as the sun sets behind the aqueduct, Truly stunning.

Very friendly staff, great menu and great selection of beers and ciders, including guest beers. The view from the pub is fantastic, and takes in both the Chirk Aquaduct and the railway Viaduct and really for us, with a glass of cider in hand, was possible the best view in England!

Visited the bridge inn for the first time. A nice pint of mild, good food at a reasonable price but best of all a proper landlady. Keep up the good work Dee, we will see you next time we're down!

The new Landlords are really pulling out all the stops. Very welcoming, good food. Sunday lunch is very good and all home made. The pub menu in week is very good too. Nice outdoor area with view of the Aqueduct.

My grandparents love to get out and travel to various local pubs and restaurants on an afternoon and have food in the local area.

We were greated by a roaring fire and a welcoming smile from the landlady.

We ordered off the lunch time menu all meals are £5. We decided to order 2 x ham, egg and chips. 1 scampi and chips, 1 bacon brie and cranberry sauce toastie.

Talk about value for money my mothers toastie was full to the brim, mine and my grandfathers ham and and chips was delicious, plenty of ham, excellent home cooked chips and the Scampi looked delicious. There was no scrimping on the chips or any accompaniments. My grandfather couldn't believe that it only cost £5. "You'd pay double and get half in most places" were his words.

Needless to say my grandparents will be going back and sampling more of the food off the menu. Oh and he hasn't had a pint of mild in years, he said it's one of the best pints he's ever had.

Definitely recommended.
