“A very lovely place”
Reviewed 23 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We stayed for a week with our toddler. The location is great with lots to do nearby. It is quite secluded so very peaceful. The lodge was very comfortable, we enjoyed the hot tub and were able to use it at night, even when it was raining/ a bit cold.

We will definitely be coming back!

What a fantastic place to be!! The smell of pine is welcoming, just like the owner and the decor, lodge and grounds are stunning!! This was the best place for us four women to celebrate a 30th birthday but would also be perfect for couples and families. Nothing I say can explain how amazing this place really is. We only found one fairy door though (ha) We do not want to leave and will definitely come back!!

We had a fantastic weekend this weekend at the lodge. We stayed with our kids and some friends. The lodge is brilliant, warm, clean, smart, well and equipped. The hot tub is excellent. The lodge is handy for walks to Gisburn forest and there is a great pub just over the beck.
We would highly recommend Gisburn Forest lodge for a quiet, stress free, relaxing break and we are looking forward to going back in the autumn.
Many thanks to Paul.

We were a party of 4 adults and a toddler. Paul was there to meet us and go through all the necessaries he was very helpful. The cabin is warm and toasty as is the hot tub which was used constantly during our long weekend. The facilities were brilliant we lacked nothing. It is great for mountain biking and walking and we did some of both. There are plenty of places to eat close-by including the crows nest which is in walking distance. Very well designed and more spacious than you would imagine. We will definitely be returning!! Fabulous time!

“Great Place!”
Reviewed 20 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

My husband and I have recently returned from a week's stay in this lodge and have to say, it was perfect.
The lodge itself is very comfortable and cosy with everything you need, and the hot tub is amazing especially when used in the evenings with all the little decking lights on.
It is so peaceful with only the sounds of the birds and sheep that you feel you are miles from anywhere, yet you are not.
You are ideally situated for exploring Bowland Forest, Lancashire, the Yorkshire Dales, The lakes, Blackpool, Leeds and all the lovely little towns around like Skipton, Settle and Clitheroe.
If you are in need of a relaxing peaceful holiday we would thoroughly recommend this place.

“Fantastic country break”
Reviewed 3 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Just back from a week's stay here with my husband and our 2 children. The lodge was perfect for our needs and in a stunning location. In between the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales so perfect for exploring the scenic countryside. The lodge had everything we needed and we were very comfortable here. We were well looked after and whenever we needed anything it was dealt with promptly. The hot tub was wonderful to soak in after a day of walking and the complimentary prosseco a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

“Totally relaxed now!”
Reviewed 18 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We were met by owner Paul and a bottle of wine, after a gruelling journey from Norfolk! He showed us around and was very helpful and informative.
We used the super hot tub most evenings during our two week stay....watching the bats is fun! As the tub is sunken, it is very easy to climb in and out of! We sat out in it until very late some nights but the weather sadly meant no star gazing!
Loads of wildlife around the area and lambs in the adjoining field. Very secluded and private place but as others have said, easy to get to nearby places.
We took badminton racquets along and played either on large grass areas or on driveway. Also bought some playing cards.
I'd never used an Aga before but coped ok although we did eat out a lot locally!
Comfy, cosy accommodation!
