Had a great time in a waters edge lodge, watching the kingfisher on a daily basis ( from the hot tub of coarse) just washing himself on the tree just a few meters from the lodge. Nice clean lodge with everything you need for a good holiday.had a meal and a nice bottle of bubbly in the mill the food was ok but the staff were very friendly at least it saved cooking that night. Drove down the coast to lands end stoping at all the villages and the stunning coves?returned via the south coast ( long day) Loved padsaw which we found on the last day stunning fish and chips there just by the harbour and some sea fishing trips which we will do next time.
A lot of work going on at the site but that did not bother us at all.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was the hot tub cleaner just popping to clean the tub weather your sitting outside having breakfast with not a lot on or getting changed in the bedroom or even in the hot tub, He kept on coming earlier each morning and didn't seem to do much just splash a bit of water for 10 min, surely he could come when your out for the day like other lodges do.
We will return hopefully next year.. As there is a lot more we would like to do around the area.
Me and my hubby have just had a wkends in this lodge...
Check in= easy lovely staff upon arrival, very friendly and efficient
Lodge= amazing...hottub was great clean and very warm and great feature.
Restaurant food= absolutely delicious defiantly recommended a visit there....
All round a great place to go for total relaxation
My husband and I stayed in this lodge for the weekend, the minute we arrived we felt so welcomed by the polite and friendly staff. The lodge itself is amazing with everything you would need for your break away.
The hot tub was amazing with beautiful views of the trees and river.
The old mill restaurant served the best tasting meals I have had in a long time, absolutely lovely break away.
Will definitely be returning.
Lovely place, just beautiful location, accommodation was clean and modern. Restaurant was amazing best food had in a long time. Only downfall for me is a skylight above bed, as a fussy sleeper the light from road came in all night.
We stayed in 4 Stonerush Valley for 4 nights from Monday to Friday and we loved it.
The lodge is well secluded and not overlooked at all.
It was fitted out to a very high quality and had everything that we needed to enable us to relax and enjoy our stay,
Particularly loved the hot tub for the evenings. Not up to temperature when we first arrived, but that was quickly sorted by the owners without any fuss.
Definitely recommend this for a couples stay to relax and unwind. We will be going back,

Cracking weekend - even in stormy weather we were wonderfully tucked up with great views over the valley. There are other cabins around but you're well protected by trees and surrounds around the hot tub. When we arrived we grabbed excellent food at the old mill which saved us cooking after a long trip and then we did some exploring. The hot tub is on when you arrive which is brilliant - and the place itself is gorgeous. Splendid place.
We stayed in 4 Stonerush Valley for 4 nights from Monday to Friday and we were very impressed! The lodge was spotlessly clean & spacious with great facilities. The large decked balcony overlooks the tranquil woods & a babbling stream! The 4 poster bed was so comfortable with quality bedding & it was easy to keep the lodge warm & cosy with central heating & a wood burner. The best thing after a day out walking was relaxing in the private hot tub with a glass of bubbly! Perfect We will definitely be back again next year
