Always have a comfortable stay in Rosewater Park. Everything you need for a perfect home from home stay. It's local to the great white hart pub. Children/pet friendly. Great food, and hospitality from Barry and is team. We will be booking again next year as well. Thank you Adrian. Also Hazel who ensures everything is perfect upon your arrival.
Over the few days we stayed the lodge was a lovely clean, well equipped, quiet base for all our trips.
Would happily stay again, longer next time we hope.
This was a lovely lodge. Very clean, well equipped and in a good location for sightseeing once you were on the main roads. (Don't trust sat-nav too much around the area as it sends you down some horrendous roads - farm tracks).
Visited Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Llanhydrock, Pencarrow and last but not least the Screech Owl Wildlife Park which was lovely for all ages.
Weather wasn't that kind to us but the lodge was very comfortable and we didn't feel cold at all.
Adrian was quick to respond to any questions that I raised and there was plenty of information in the lodge for places to visit etc.
Lovely situated lodge, great access to main roads made it really easy to see Cornwall. Well equipped and reasonable priced.
Excellent lodge, clean and comfortable, ideal location, Adrian the owner very helpful through out the booking process and our stay. Great for families or couples.
Cracking lodge, spotless clean, good base.
Suffice to say we are already trying to work into our schedule another two weeks later on in the year. Here's hoping.
We stayed as a small family. We have a 1-year-old and my wife is pregnant (so we wanted something comfy).
The lodge is well presented, with a decent sized living space in a quiet and pretty lodge park. The decor and fittings are fairly modern and for the price we paid, we were more than happy.
They have an information pack, a visitors book and lots of tourist leaflets under the coffee table, which helps to give you a bit of local knowledge.
Communication from Adrian was really good as well.
The village of St Teath is very small and quiet, the people we met were all really friendly. It has a small shop for things you might need, but there is a large Tesco's in Wadebridge (about 15 mins away).
The lodge is an ideal location for sight seeing and generally doing things. In our 4 days we went to Port Isaac, Tintagel, Trebarwith Strand, Clovelly (Devon), Eden Project, Padstow, Springfields Fun Park and Bodmin. We didn't have to spend ages in the car as the lodge is situated in a fairly central location to the North Cornwall highlights.
The only downside (and it is pretty circumstantial) is that we booked the lodge as it had two bedrooms, but the Cot had to go in our room as it doesn't fit in bedroom 2. This meant we had a few nights of an excited 1 year old pulling at our bedding and generally doing everything she could to get in our bed. Sleep was slightly impacted but we still had an amazing time.
We hope to go back in a few years with 2 kids. Reinstated my faith in holidays in the UK.
