“Awful food. Staff aren't pleasant. ”
Reviewed 24 June 2014 via mobile

Ordered the chicken and ham pie and the chicken was undercooked. The sauce was gloopy and disgusting and the service was appalling. We felt like we were ripped off because of how much we paid.

“Good Food & Great Beer”
Reviewed 25 May 2014 via mobile

We had the delight of finding two pubs in this village! Each time we popped into the Queens it was 3/4 full with diners. Good food selection from the menu & specials board.I loved the lasagne.Beer well kept & you can takeaway a two pint carton handy for a leisure evening in.our rented cottage.
Great the pub welcomes dog owners a bonus for our spaniel.

“Truely lovely meal”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

We went to Slapton Sands for the WWII history and found this pub, absolutely heaving at the seams which is usually a good sign, and it didn't let us down. Good food, good price, too much to eat, child friendly but a nice lower bar for those without children which is a great idea. Would recommend anytime.

“Wonderful pub and food”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Just had a wonderful week in slapton enhanced by this pub, it's a proper pub with lovely hosts, great beers in a relaxed atmosphere, the food is first class, the rump steak is to die for, the menu is varied and well priced, one of the best pubs I have been in for many years
