“We actually stayed in the Chateau”
Reviewed 22 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

This is my second trip to Chateau Coye - I took my daughter this time and we actually stayed in the chateau as The Pigeonner was occupied. We had a beautiful little suite in the tower with sitting area, 2 bedrooms and shower room. The food was sublime, plentiful and varied with local influences. We were still able to use the pool, despite the weather being changeable. Liz and Len Selby are excellent hosts who really enjoy sharing the delights of their gorgeous home.

“A Great Escpae”
Reviewed 17 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

If you want to get away from it all Chateau Coye is for you. It is in a marvellous location, extensive grounds surrounded by agricultural land, the only sounds coming from the local wildlife. The Pigeonnaire was already booked by a lovely Dutch couple so we spent 3 nights in the Chateau. It was a real treat. The house is full of character and is lovingly cared for by the owners Liz and Len. We stayed in the Champagne Room which was huge and tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. The ensuite bathroom had rolltop bath and plenty of hot water. The swimming pool area has views across the surrounding countryside. On a clear day you can see the Pyrenees. There are plenty of opportunities for alfresco dining. You do need a car if you want to explore the area but if you just want to relax and unwind look no further.

“Quaint, rustic charm...”
Reviewed 7 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

My husband and I stayed at this quaint little annexe to the main house - Chateau Coÿe near to Hagetmau for 4 nights. Liz and Len were excellent hosts, friendly and welcoming. There was a generous welcome pack left on our arrival which was wonderful as we arrived on a Sunday evening.
The house is situated in a remote location in beautiful surroundings - very peaceful indeed. The little gite itself is attached to the main house being once the home of the 'gardien' and also housed the pigeonnier. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room comfortably furnished. Upstairs (a little steep wooden staircase) is the spacious bathroom and cosy bedroom and a covered balcony where we enjoyed eating our breakfasts and supper, watching Lenin and Mathilda the cockerel and hen scuffing up Liz's raised lavender beds!
This is a perfect retreat for any couple and we thoroughly recommend it.
