My son and I stayed here for a few days to cycle round the local area and to see some sights. The hosts (Jan and Geoff) went beyond all expectations in helping us with advice, provided excellent food (we stayed for B&B but had two evening meals provided by them) and took into account our dietary requirements (many thanks!). They couldn't do enough to help and ensure our stay was as good as possible. The accommodation was surprisingly good (and excellent value for money) and had everything we needed. The property is less than an hour from the tunnel and within half an hour (by car) of lots of war history, national forest areas, and the seaside. We feel we discovered a gem - a great place for a short break and we are hoping to go there again (for information they have a four bed property with magnificent dining hall and kitchen / washing area as well for larger groups). Three days there and we feel we've had a real break. Highly recommended!
